Defensive coach Darrick Rizzo is a graduate from Williamsport High School in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Darrick led his high school basketball team to the State Final game in 1995 with his solid defense. After high school, Rizzo attended Lycoming College here he broke many track and field records.

After college, Darrick became the assistant track and field coach for Williamsport High School and assistant varsity basketball coach for South Williamsport High School.

Darrick is known as a Defensive Specialist. He has shut down many Division 1 players.

Darrick Rizzo is proud to be one of Coach Pete White's proteges! Coach White may be best described as one of the most knowledgeable and highly respected coaches in all of Pennsylvania. Pete White has won 17 District Championships in a row; a Pennsylvania record!

He also holds the record of winning 12 consecutive PIAA AAAA First Round Playoff Games. His 1984 undefeated 30-0 State Champions may be the best high school team in PA's history. In 1995,  White was named PA Big School Coach of the Year and led Darrick Rizzo's team to a state runner-up title.

More than a Decade of Experience

Rizzo has also been coaching defense at the top ranked NCAA certified basketball camp "Keystone State Camps", for more than a decade. Darrick has also demonstrated his teaching techniques at other various basketball camps, tournaments, and other events nationally.
